shut up and smile. How many times do we go through life saying too much, saying the wrong things, criticizing something that someone cannot change, making fun of a decision that took a person sweat and tears to make. How may times do we not say enough, but just enough to pull someone from cloud 9 all the way into their own purgatory.

I'm tellin' ya, Thumper's Mamma was right.
My point? Filter what you are saying and if you're about to discuss your bitter rantings...take a breathe, blink 3 times, let the air out of your lungs, bite your tongue, shut up... and smile.

What, then, do you do when you live in a cookie cutter world?
Walk around being different? Yes.
Bend the rules? That, too.
Dance to your own beat? Yeah! Shake it!
Be yourself? (what?!) Yes! HELL, YES! Be yourself.
Be your own freckled-faced, nail-biting, emo feeling, punk rock listening, church going, hopeless romantic movie watching self.
